Financial Asset Services, Inc. [“FAS”] believes the responsible use of customer information collected on our website is critical to our business objectives and reputation. Federal law requires FAS to tell you how we collect, use, share and protect your personal information.
The Information We Collect
FAS collects non-public personal information [“NPI”] that has been voluntarily provided by you in an application. FAS only collects information that is necessary to process your application. Information collected may include name, address, telephone number, credit card information and bank account information.
Disclosure of Customer Information
FAS takes the privacy of our customers very seriously. We will not sell or otherwise provide customer non-public personal information to any third parties for marketing purposes. FAS does disclose NPI to non-affiliated third parties for the purpose of processing a financial transaction as permitted by law.
Safeguarding NPI
FAS has technological and operational security policies and procedures in place to protect customer information from loss, mishandling or unintentional misuse. When you enter sensitive information (such as credit card or bank account numbers) on our order forms, we encrypt that information using secure socket layer technology [“SSL”]. FAS follows generally accepted industry standards to protect non-public personal information submitted to use, both during transmission and once we receive it. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially accepted means to protect non-public personal information entered on our website, we cannot and do not guarantee its absolute security.
Policy Changes
FAS reserves the right to modify or amend this Policy at any time. In the event of a change, the change(s) will be posted immediately to the FAS Website.
